당신의 자비심 안에서 완전히 변화되어 생생하게
당신을 드러내기를 간절히 바라나이다.
오! 주님.
May the greatest of all divine attributes,
that of Your unfathomable mercy,
pass through my heart and soul to my neighbour.
당신의 거룩하심과 지극한 자비심이
저의 마음과 영혼을 통하여 제 이웃에게 전해지게 하소서.
Help me O Lord!
that my eyes may be merciful,
so that I may never suspect or judge from appearances,
but look for what is beautiful in my neighbor's souls
and come to their rescue.
오! 주님,
저의 눈을 자비롭게 하소서.
겉으로 나타나는 것 만으로 남을 의심하거나 판단하지 않고,
제 이웃의 영혼 안에서 아름다운 것을 바라보며
그들의 구원을 갈망하도록 도와주소서.
Help me O Lord!
that my ears may be merciful,
so that I may give heed to my neighbor's needs
and not be indifferent to their pains and moanings.
오! 주님,
저의 귀를 자비롭게 하소서.
제 이웃의 어려움에 귀 기울이고
그들의 고통과 신음소리에 냉담하지 않게 도와주소서.
Help me O Lord!
that my tongue may be merciful,
so that I should never speak negatively of my neighbor
but have a word of comfort and forgiveness for all.
오! 주님,
저의 혀를 자비롭게 하소서.
제 이웃에게 부정적으로 말하지 않게 하시고
모든 이들에게
위로와 용서의 말을 해 줄 수 있게 도와주소서.
Help me O Lord!
that my hands may be merciful,
and filled with good deed,
so that I may do only good to my neighbors
and take upon my self the more difficult and toilsome tasks.
오! 주님,
저의 손을 자비롭게 하소서.
선행으로 채워주시어
이웃에게 좋은 일만을 행하며
제 자신은 어렵고 힘든 일을 떠맡을 수 있게 도와주소서.
Help me O Lord!
that my feet may be merciful,
so that I may hurry to assist my neighbor,
overcoming my own fatigue and weariness.
오! 주님,
저의 발을 자비롭게 하소서.
서둘러 제 이웃을 도울 수 있게 하시고
제 자신의 피로와 권태를 이겨낼 수 있게 도와주소서.
Help me O Lord!
that my heart may be merciful,
so that I myself may feel all the sufferings
of my neighbor.
오! 주님,
저의 마음을 자비롭게 하소서.
제 이웃의 모든 고통을
제 자신이 같이 느낄 수 있도록 도와주소서.
I will refuse my heart to no one.
저는 어떤 사람에게도 제 마음을 거절치 않겠나이다.
I will be sincere even with those who,I know,
will abuse my kindness.
저의 친절을 욕되게하는 그런 사람들에게까지도
저는 성심성의를 다 하겠나이다.
And I will lock myself up in the most merciful
heart of Jesus.
그리하여 예수님의 지극히 자비로운 성심 안에
제 자신을 가두어 놓겠나이다.
I will bear my own suffering in silence.
저의 고통도 침묵 중에 참겠나이다.
May Your Mercy,
O Lord, rest upon me. Amen.

당신의 자비가 저에게 머무르게 하소서. 아멘.
