The man believed what Jesus said to him
THINK ABOUT THIS
Todays story is about a man whose son was dying. He wanted Jesus to come to his home to cure the boy. Because the man had faith Jesus did heal his son -without even going to the mans home. The man became a believer right then and there. imagine how he felt when he got home and his son ran to meet him! What joy he must have felt as he hugged his child! Faith is a wonderful gift, one that keeps us running toward Gods loving arms.
Think about this message today. Can you follow Jesus this way?
EXERCISE
Do thirty push -ups,and each time say,"Give me faith, dear God."
PRAYER
Before you go to bed tonight ,say this prayer:
Dear God, every day of Lent I am trying to run closer and closer and to you for loving me so much.
Now spend two minutes( more if you can) talking to God in your own words. |
