THINK ABOUT THIS
Here again Jesus is angry with the leaders. They know in their hearts that only someone sent by God could do all that Jesus was doing. Yet they refuse to listen . We are all like that sometimes. We ignore the message of Jesus because its hard to love and serve others, to give to poor, and to spend time talking to God. Its easier to be selfish and lazy. Lent reminds us to continue our spiritual exercise.
EXERCISE
Do twenty jump-ups,and as you do each one say: Open my ears to your message, Jesus.
PRAYER
Before you go to school today, say this prayer:
Dear Jesus, help me to be kind to everyone I meet today, especially those who irritate or offend me.
Now spend two minutes ( more if you can) talking to God in your own words.
