John ,chapter8,verses31-42
The truth will make you free.

Think about  this
Somtimes it seems like lying makes us free. We do something wrong. We lie about it . We get off free. But Jesus says it is truth that really makes us free. Free for what? To be our best selves,to open to the needs of others, to be children of our loving God. Jesus asks us to open our hearts to  his message, to always seek the truth, and we will be free.

Think about this message today . Can you follow Jesus this way?

EXERCISE
Lift a heavy book twenty times, and as you do day: " May I always tell the truth!"

PRAYER
After school today,say this prayer:
Jesus, if I have been dishonest in any way today, please forgive me. Help me to follow you honestly and truthly
Now spend two minutes ( more if you can ) talking to God in your own words.
