CRUCIFY HIM! Crucify him!
Think about this
Today is Good Friday . We call it. "Good " because it is the day Jesus died on the cross.
Why is that good? Because we know that Jesus was raised from the dead by God three days later-and that was very good. We also know that on this day he was arrested,condemed,nailed to a cross,and died- all because he refused to stop doing the good works God sent him to do. He was put to death, but death and evil could not hold him. His goodness overcame everything.
Think about this message today. Can you follow Jesus this way?
EXERCISE
Practice running toward a finish line and as you do say. "help me win this race,Jessu!"
PRAYER
Before you go to bed tonight ,say this prayer:
Im sorry for all your pain and suffering, Jesus. May I never give up on goodness and love.
Now spend two minutes ( more if you can ) talking to God in your own words. |
