Jesus is not here : he has been raised.
Think about this
This is the day before Easter. We call it the Easter Vigil. On this evening the church celebrates with fire and light and water and bread and wine . Its a great feast because Jesus has risen from the dead.
And now, you, like Jesus ,are at the finish line. You should be very proud and happy . You have taken a giant step toward running into Gods arms- and someday you will meet Jesus there. For now, keep up the good race and never give up. Jesus loves you and watches over you always.
Think about this message today. Can you follow Jesus this way?
EXERCISE
Run across the finish line as you do say: Alleluia, Alleluia, this race is over!"
PRAYER
Before you go to bed tonight, say this prayer: Tomorrow is Easter Sunday. Thank you , God , for raising up your son ,Jesus. Raise me up to a life of goodness and joy,
Now spend two minutes ( more if you can) talking to God in your own words. |
